Easy Gluten-Free Stroganoff Recipe

This delicious home-made Beef Stroganoff has tender chunks of beef coated in a luscious gluten-free creamy sauce and served over a bed of regular or gluten-free noodles or zoodles.  It is sure to be a hit with your everyone in your family. With all that flavor, you might assume it’s a complicated dish, but it’s actually quite the opposite. This recipe can be made in well under an hour and with only 20 minutes of hands-on time, since it’s really all about the simmer. When you don’t have all day to spend in the kitchen, this recipe is a guaranteed hit!

  • 1 Pound Thinly Sliced Steak Strips or Hamburger
  • 1 Cup Sour Cream or Vegan Sour Cream
  • 1 Clove Garlic or 1/2 Tsp. Garlic Powder
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2/3 Cup Vivian’s Live Again Creamy Mushroom Soup Mix
  • 1 Onion, Diced
  • 2 Cups Water
  • 1/2 Tsp. Paprika
  • Salt and Pepper to taste


  1. Brown the meat with the onions and garlic.
  2. Whisk the soup and water together and add to the meat mixture.
  3. OPTIONAL: Use the liquid from one small can of mushrooms as part of the water for the soup.
  4. Bring to a boil and add spices, Worcestershire sauce, sour cream and salt.
  5. Heat through and simmer. Serve over rice, noodles, zoodles, or quinoa.
  6. Add the mushrooms at the end with the spices.
